Hello, everyone. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know what's going on with me and my next project.
First of all, thank you for making Beauty from Pain such a successful. I made USA Today's Best Seller list. I'm super excited about that. The demand for the sequel, Beauty from Surrender, has been a little overwhelming but I'm up for the job. I've started it and I've gotten a nice little chunk knocked out. It's scheduled with my editor for early May. I hope this will allow me to release it before May 30th. That would be super!!! And I know a few readers who would be very happy about that. Because Beauty from Pain has been successful, it caught the attention of agents and publishers so I'm very pleased to announce that I am now represented by Jane Dystel of Dystel & Goderich Literary Management in New York, NY. This is a huge step for me. I never expected to take this path but I'm very excited about finding out where it leads. This site will be getting a facelift soon – hopefully this weekend. Please bear with me while I make the much needed changes to make it more navigation-friendly with an updated appearance. I'm getting questions about Blood Doll and when it will be available. Whew! I had hoped to have it in January. Well, that didn't happen. Beauty from Pain happened instead. And now Beauty from Surrender is happening. I will definitely finish the Agape series but I ask you to be patient with me. I have to write what's in demand first but I promise I won't leave Curry and Chansey hanging forever. I hope to jump back into their story this summer. I've been asked for teasers from Beauty from Surrender. I'm no where near the place where I can release those. I write really weird. I don't start at the beginning and write a full story from start to finish. I write scenes as I see them happening in my head and as I feel inspired. I begin with a skeleton and go back to fill in the gaps. It's weird. I don't know– maybe other writers do similar things. I just know I have bits and pieces here and there until I mesh it together at the end. That's the short version of what's happening with Georgia. I'll give you more updates as they come.
