![]() Shelly Crane has released Reverence, her selected chapters from The Significance Series written from Caleb's Point of View. This is a special thank you to all of her readers for being so awesome. If you haven't checked it out already, shame on you. It's fabulous. It can be read on her site or downloaded for free from smashwords. Reverence at Shelly Crane Speaks Reverence at Smashwords Guys, I know everyone doesn't use an e-reader. (I don't understand that, but...that's just me. I'm a total tech girl.) Printed Copies are on the way. I've procrastinated about it because I didn't think there was much of a demand for them, but I have readers waiting to read my books because they aren't in print yet. I've made this top priority on my long list of things to do. They are coming. I promise.
I'm 40,000 words into Blood Jewel and things are going great. The outline is fabulous and I get motion sickness from all of the twists and turns. I have some new characters I think you are going to absolutely love and some old ones you're going to still love to hate.
I should be around 5 weeks from finishing with Blood Jewel. (Fingers Crossed.) My mind is already thinking and pondering what is next? Book 3 (Currently Untitled) of The Vampire Agape Series is in my head, but if you keep up with me then you know readers have contacted me about writing a Payton Archer book. I'm seriously kicking that around as my project after Blood Jewel is completed. Soooo...Which one do you want? Payton Archer Book or Book 3 in The Vampire Agape Series? You're the reader. You tell me what you want! I want to hear your thoughts. ![]() Meet Marsala Dauphine We are going to learn some interesting things about Marsala Dauphine in Blood Jewel as she briefly recalls her life before she became a vampire and the events that led her to the one that turned her. I'm working sooooo hard to solidify the direction Blood Jewel is taking because I want to post the first few chapters as soon as possible. Until that time comes, here's an excerpt from Chapter One . At this point, Chapter One is told from Marsala's Point of View. Please...don't hold me to this because it could change before the final edit. You never know what I'll come up with. Excerpt from Chapter 1 Becoming Marsala Dauphine (Marsala's POV) I was abruptly jerked from my waltz down memory lane when I felt a sudden pain through my chest, the place where I always felt my connection to Curry. I briefly wondered if someone had driven a stake through my heart until I looked down and confirmed there was nothing protruding from my body. There was only one conclusion I could draw. “Marsala, what is wrong?” Madon asked, concerned after seeing the pained expression on my face. “I felt it the moment it happened,” I said in disbelief although I had waited 22 years for the day to come. “I don’t understand. What has happened?” Madon asked in confusion. I never told Madon or Wythe about the curse placed on me by the gods on the day Curry walked into the sunlight away from our coven. They believed he met his true death that day and I would have thought the same if the gods hadn’t cursed me. My punishment was devastating, but simple. I was forced to feel Curry every moment since we were separated. I felt his happiness without me and I endured the pain of feeling him find the one to complete him-his Agápe. I looked at Madon’s worried reflection and I knew I had to tell him and Wythe the truth. “He has found her.” Madon’s enraged expression told me he understood as he shook his head in disbelief. He shut his eyes tightly trying to block out my words. “No, he’s dead,” he argued. “It’s true. Curry is very much alive and he has found his Agápe. Now, we must find them because the girl has to die.” I would like to give Aubrie a special thank you for the wonderful review she wrote about Going Under. Feel free to check out her blog.

Bewitching Book Tour at: http://butterflyometerbooks.blogspot.com/2012/04/character-interview-jessie-boone.html#disqus_thread I made my decision about the conclusion to Going Under and what I needed to do to give my readers what they want. The reader is always right, amirite?
I have written an additional chapter. It is Chapter 36 "I Haven't Gotten Over This Yet" and will be added to Going Under for future buyers. It is posted in the column to the right for readers that purchased Going Under prior to it's addition as the conclusion for Going Under. Depending on where you purchased Going Under, you may be able to re-download it at no charge. If you can't, I have provided it free of charge on this blog. I thank you for all of your comments and reviews. As an author, this is something I watch closely and I want to give my readers what they want. I hope Chapter 36 clears up what you wanted to know about 'What happened to Jessie.' Thank you for your support! Georgia |
